Civil Rights
- Does not support affirmative action. Success comes to those who work hard no matter what race or gender
- Pro-gay rights. Don’t think religion should influence marital rights to love.
- Pro-womens rights. Women should have equal opportunity and pay as men. No reason that women should be subject to less opportunity
- Job creation: eliminate NAFTA and allow jobs to come back to America
- Does not support No Child Left Behind policy. Tax money should not be going towards people who need extra assistance if your child doesn’t benefit from it.
- Pro-common core. Gives every student equal standards when applying to college and also creates a country-wide system of testing and curriculum. Creates unity throughout the country
- Global warming is real. Need to protect our planet
- Energy policy- look for alternative, cost-effective energy sources that don’t harm the environment as much as our current sources do
- Decrease air and water pollution- need clean resources
- Cost of health care is too high and needs to be decreased
- Obamacare needs to be majorly reformed and the cost needs to be cut
- There are too many people without health care and they are at risk of exorbitantly high medical costs if injured. More people need to be covered.
- Immigration: eliminate immigration but allow current immigrants to gain citizenship and become legal. Immigrants take our tax money and need to stop coming into the US.
- We need to combat domestic terrorism by increasing spending on the military and defense
- Wiretapping needs to be eliminated. Citizens have the right to privacy and individual rights
- Abortion should be illegal except for certain circumstances; rape and possible death of mother
- For the death penalty. Criminals use tax money
- Gun control: regulations need to be made on large assault weapons. Guns should be allowed for protection but should not need large rifles
